Dr. Mooreland received her Doctorate from The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!) where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and selected as a National Health Service Corp Scholar. She completed her residency training with Grant Family Practice of OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, where she continues to serve as adjunct faculty or community preceptor.

She completed a rigorous area of concentration in Women’s Health and Obstetrics during her residency training and believes that full spectrum family centered care is the key to addressing the maternal health crisis by bridging the gap. A proud Florida A&M University rattler, Dr. Chelsea graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.

Dr. Mooreland’s interests and expertise are broad and purposeful including Medication Assisted Treatment of Addiction (MAT), adolescent health, and group prenatal care such as CenteringPregnancyⓇ. Dubbed “The Community Doctor,” Dr. Mooreland founded Life Cycle DPC to be fully committed to serving the community well, free from meaningless boundaries and unrelenting paperwork to engage and be fully present in the community with you and your family.
